About Hope for the Nations:

Hope for the Nations (HFTN) was started in 1994 to support children at risk due to war, poverty, illiteracy and child trafficking in developing countries. Hope for the Nations partners with local organizations to operate foster homes, operate schools for children, develop micro-enterprise projects, support community development projects, including feeding programs, agriculture and health-related programs, and provide emergency response. It works in 19 countries across Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe, and North America.
In Canada, HFTN runs Food For Thought, a program that provides meals to eliminate child hunger. In F2022, the program provided 107,393 breakfasts and 4,370 food backpacks.
In Mexico, HFTN funds 12 homes that house 160 children. In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, HFTN funds seven schools.

Hope for the Nations reports that at its Ecole Shalom in Burundi/DR Congo, students have achieved a 100% pass rate from primary to secondary school for nine years.
