Founded in 1983, Lloydminster Region Health Foundation (LRHF) raises funds for public healthcare in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. The community is situated on the border with Alberta and serves Albertans under contract with Alberta Health Services. The charity also supports Project Sunrise, a mental health initiative. LRHF reports that one in five Albertans experience mental health concerns or addiction; this number becomes one in three in Lloydminster. LRHF runs events, such as galas and dodgeball tournaments, to fundraise.
