About VETS Canada:

Founded in 2012, Veterans Emergency Transition Services Canada (VETS Canada) provides support services to Canadian veterans. The charity is based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and provides services such as temporary housing assistance, food support and transportation to veterans in crisis. VETS Canada does not provide a total program spending, nor does it disclose how much it spends on each of its programs. 

VETS Canada aims to address veterans’ immediate needs. It has three drop-in centres in Dartmouth, Ottawa and Edmonton. These provide safe places for conversation and support.
