Note: Thrift store activities are reported net of expenses, affecting total revenues and expenses by ($324k) in F2022, ($314k) in F2021, and ($245k) in F2020. Ci did not adjust for changes in deferred contributions of $56k in F2022, $641k in F2021, and $51k in F2020 because the audited financial statements do not disclose what proportion of contributions represent Canadian donations versus government funding. Women in Need Society of Calgary does not report total program, administrative or fundraising costs. As a result, in F2021 and F2020, Ci reported administrative and fundraising costs from the charity’s T3010 filings with the CRA. At the time of this update, the F2022 T3010 data was not available. Ci allocated individual line items into program, administrative and fundraising costs as deemed appropriate. When necessary, Ci removed amortization from program, administrative, and fundraising costs on a pro-rata basis.
