Founded in 1992, Centre de la Petite Enfance Vire-Crepe (CPE Vire-Crepe) is a branch of the CPE, which manages early childhood centres in Quebec. CPE Vire-Crepe is dedicated to the care and education of young children. It has four facilities: La Bambinerie, which accommodates 44 children from infants to 3 years of age; La Coquinerie, which accommodates 46 children of various ages; La Gaminerie, which accommodates 40 children who are in their last year before they enter kindergarten; and Le Jardin d'Etoiles, which accommodates 62 children.

In 2011, CPE Vire-Crepe engaged nearly 200 caretakers and participants to care for nearly 1,000 children.
