Founded in 2000, President's Choice Children's Charity (PCCC) works to remove hunger as a barrier to education for Canadian children. It does this by funding school meal programs and teaching children growing and cooking skills. According to the charity, more than 2.1 million Canadian children, or more than 1 in 4, face food insecurity. Hungry children experience 27% higher levels of anxiety and have more difficulty focusing and learning in school.
PCCC runs one main program: Power Full Kids. PCCC spent $22.7m on this program in 2025.
The Power Full Kids program provides children with meals and snacks, as well as life skills like cooking and gardening. PCCC reports that it provided daily meals and snacks to 1,003,461 students across 2,162 schools in 2025.
