Charity Intelligence has rated over 700 charities on a scale of 0 to 4 stars.
Charity Intelligence has made the hard decision to keep the 4-star rating as a "mark" of excellence. Our aim is for the top 15% of charities to earn 4-stars. Unlike some research organizations where "every stock is a buy", or the majority of charities get 4-stars, at Charity Intelligence the 4-star charities will be a small elite. 3 star charities are 'good', 2 star charities are 'average' and donors should take a closer look at charities with 1 star or less before donating to get a deeper understanding. To see how the star ratings are calculated, please see our methodology page.
If you would like to see all of the ratings that we have completed, including all 3,2,1 and 0-star charities, please register for a subscription with Charity Intelligence and for an annual fee of $20, you can view and compare all ratings.
If you would like to see a charity that is not yet rated, please send us the name of the charity and those charities receiving the most donor votes will be rated.
